Use a code
Choose your plan, Team Pass renewal or top-up as usual, tick the box on Review your purchase and tap Continue to payment.
In the secure checkout, tap Add promotion code in the order summary.
Type the code and apply it. Capital letters do not matter. The total updates before you pay.
Pay as usual.
Swops has no code field of its own: codes go into Stripe’s checkout only. That is why the review step and the Continue to payment button still show the full price. The discount appears in the checkout. See Choose a plan and pay.
Where codes work
A code can be used on any purchase: Solo, Business, a Team Pass and its renewal, and top-ups, in euros or in US dollars. Each code can have its own conditions, such as a last date, a limited number of uses or first purchases only. If a code cannot be used, the checkout tells you before you pay.
How long a discount lasts
A Team Pass, a renewal and a top-up are single payments, so the discount applies once.
On Solo and Business it depends on the offer. A code can take money off the first payment only, off every payment for a set number of months, or off every renewal. If you switch between monthly and yearly billing, a code for every renewal carries over, and a code for a set number of months stops at the switch. See Monthly or yearly billing.
What a code changes
Only the price. You get the same allowance, people and collections as without a code.
In Account›Purchase history, a discounted payment shows code with the code and the amount taken off, next to the date. The amount on the right is what you paid. Link’s receipt and invoice show the discount too. See Invoices and receipts.
Nothing is charged, so there is no receipt: Purchase history shows no Receipt for that purchase. On a subscription, the checkout may still ask for a card for the payments that follow.
Where codes come from
Codes come from Swops, in offers we share. Forgot to enter one? A code can only be entered in the checkout. It cannot be added to a payment afterwards. Questions about an offer? Contact us.
