A failed analysis costs nothing
When research cannot finish, Swops gives the analysis back automatically. There is nothing to claim and no one to ask: it is back in the workspace’s allowance straight away.
The messages
“Research did not complete”
In the research sheet: “Research did not complete. Your analysis was not used. Please try again.” If you closed the sheet but stayed on the contact, a short message says Research did not complete · no analysis used.
The sheet offers Try again · 1 analysis, Open the saved report when an earlier brief exists, and the way back to the contact.
What to do: try again in a minute. If it fails twice for the same contact, check the company name and website for typos, then try again. See Which business Swops researches.
The short version
Sometimes the quick look works and the full analysis does not. Swops then saves the quick look as the brief, gives the analysis back and adds a note at the end: “This is the short version: the full analysis could not finish this time, so your analysis was not used. Tap Research again for the full brief.”
What to do: use it as it is, or tap Research again · 1 analysis later for the full brief. See Research a business again.
“Not available right now”
“Business analysis is not available right now because of a problem on our end. Nothing was charged. Please try again later.”
What to do: the problem is ours. Try again later. If it lasts more than a few hours, contact us.
“AI is paused for a short while”
“AI is paused for a short while. Nothing was charged. Please try again later.”
Swops sometimes pauses new AI work for everyone, briefly, to protect the service. The pause ends by itself. Research that was already running finishes. Meanwhile you can still open saved briefs and add contacts by hand.
The hourly limit
“You can analyse up to 30 businesses an hour. Try again in 12 minutes.”
Each person can start up to 30 analyses in any hour, across all their workspaces. Research again counts, and so do attempts that failed; reopening saved briefs never does. Wait the minutes shown. Your teammates have their own 30. See “You can scan up to 60 cards an hour”.
“You’ve used your analyses”
When the workspace has no analyses left, the button on a contact reads Get more analyses and opens You’ve used your analyses.
- On a paid plan, the owner can add a top-up there: 25 analyses for €15 or 100 analyses for €49, valid 12 months.
- Members see “Only the owner of Corvia Sensors can add a top-up.” Ask your owner, or, on Business, wait for the next monthly allowance.
- On the free trial, top-ups need a paid plan first: choose one from the sheet.
See Top-ups.
Taking a long time?
The quick look usually appears within seconds and the full brief a minute or two later. When the research service is busy, it can take longer. See A business analysis is taking long.
